Dear Kunchiwala Uncle and Eva Aunty

My time come to an end in Karlsruhe, my life journey of nine months in Germany went on very smoothly under your kind hospitality and parental guidance. I did not feel any lonely ness during this time because of your presence here. I am very thankful to you for your affection, support and care. Students whoever is coming to Karlsruhe they can find homely environment other than their home.

I really enjoyed the parties and trips to various places like black forest, nuclear power plant, ZKM, Heidelberg, water purification plant etc. You provided everything for us with which our survival was facilitated so smoothly. I never expected that I can celebrate divali festival in such way. Really I felt the homely environment in Divali fest. I owe a lot to you aunty and uncle.

Give me a chance, if it happens to visit India in future, to pay back an iota of your hospitality.
I will be happy to inform the students whoever I know, will be coming to Karlsruhe about an Indian home in Germany.

Wishing you good health and strength.

With love and regards

Dear Kunchiwala Uncle and Aunty,

I am happy to write a note of thanks in your guestbook. I cannot express in few words my gratitude and your affection. Last nine months were finished very fastly. Uncle and Aunty cared us like their own kids. Their presence made a real change, during our stay in karlsruhe, in priorly expected lonely life in Germany. Our homesickness and anxieties were eased by them.

We had plenty of memorable and appetizing dinners and enjoyable tours during last nine months. The photos of first day's visit to Schloss and visits to ZKM, Heidelberg, Mummelsee, Wasserwork plant, Phippsburg Nuclear plant and our birthday celebrations give live feelings of those pleasant occasions. Grand Diwali fest celebration brought a small India to your home.

I will be thankful to you both for your support and help. Your webpage shows your interest and willingness towards Indian students those who are coming to Germany for studies. In last nine years more than hundred students and many Professors enjoyed your hospitality.

Many thanks to IIT-DAAD 9th batch, Kolla, Kathy, Dhana, Saurabh, Piyal and other VIT friends, Melvin and abhishek to accomplish a fruitful and enjoyable period in Germany.

I will pray to God to give strength and good health for continuing your help and service.

With prayers and regards

Thankfully

Dear uncle and aunty,

Time flowes, but the feelings and memories remain there.I didnt expect such a homely environment and hospitality here. But uncle and aunty made our last 9 months full of fun and enjoyment. They always tried their best to make us happy and comfortable.Without their parental guidance,I would never complet my 9 months journey so smoothly.
Thank you very much.Wish you a good health and spirit....

Dear Uncle & Aunty,
Its time to leave Karlsruhe, Germany but it will be very regretful in life if I don't express my gratitude to you, as I never get such a wonderful hospitality and guidance in life other than my family and thats too in a Foreign country, I couldn't dream of it but ironically, I get these things in reality. Not only these but also I feel I am not far away from my family even though they are 4300 miles away. You provided food when hungry, utensils to cook and warm clothes to protect from winter. What else did I need more than this to live??

All these are possible because of both of you. I respect and salute to your human value, kindness and humanity and wish both of you to live long and happy!

For visitors to Karlsruhe,I only want to say with confidence that Eva aunty and Ashok uncle are the two of those persons whom you can trust in life and I guaranty you this fact.

With respect and love,

Hi uncle n aunty,

I can’t forget even the slightest moment of our eight month long delightful companionship. The fact that I am away from my home has always been eluding me because of your sweet company. Under your tutelage, every single second, I felt that this is my happiest moment in Germany only to realize that the next second is eagerly awaiting to prove me wrong. Thank u very much and yah.. uncle, the food u cook is very delicious and i will surely come again to devour all my favorite dishes :)

Uncle and aunty extend their help to all Indians coming to karlsruhe by providing the requisite information and by making all necessary arrangements. This became exceedingly fecilitative to all of us because we came to a foreign country for the first time.

I can't describe in words the affection with which they 'take care of you'. They met us on our first day in Germany and they took us to many places. They spent their time with us, for us. I have been staying in Germany for about 8 months till now and still I never felt homesick feeling. The warmth and fondness I experienced in their presence is inexplicable. The strength and support they provide everyone here is very helpful in surmounting all the difficulties one face in a foreign country. It is very pleasant to note that there are still few people like them who do all these things without expecting anything in return.

I will never forget u both.

Hello All,

I would like to introduce myself as Viswanath.Y from India. I work with Siemens, India and I am currently on a business trip to Karlsruhe, Germany. I would like to tell you all that I have found a "Home" in a land very far from my home. Its none other than Mr and Mrs. Kunchiwala's house. I came to know about this wonderful couple from one of my colleagues. Me and my colleagues went to meet Uncle and Aunt; and we were really surprised by the excellent hospitality and the care they have showed on us, and ofcourse, for other Indians whom they are meeting for the first time in life. I can never forget uncle and aunt in my life. "Hats off" to Ashok Uncle and Eva Aunt.

Dear Kunchiwala Uncle & Aunty,

It was pleasure meeting with such a wonderful persons like both of you.
After visiting your sweet home, I came to know the real meaning of ATTITHI DEVA BHAVA. It was amazing to see both of you having so much energy and enthusiasm at this age, helping the unkonwns like me without any intention of gaining something.
Looking at both of you as an individuals coming from different part of the world and different culture, but still together complementing each other's quality and having one intention in life of helping others is realy remarkable. And others to follow them and cherish those qualities.

I wish, may every individual in this world find a helping hand like Kunchiwala Uncle And Aunty.

With Love and Regards

Dearest n Respected Uncle n Aunty,
This is sudarshana,as you know i am a Phd student in chemistry at University of Karlsruhe. we meet different kinds of people in our life and only very few can make a very deep impact on you....such that you always remember and cherish the moments shared with them..uncle n aunty are one of those people..who have always been there whenever i have needed them ,expecting nothing in return like our parents...
you have always given me best suggestions and helped me to overcome all problems..
It's not only me , the way you care for all indian students coming at karlsruhe is praiseworthy,,also you are like a connecting network to all indians who are or were in karlsruhe,,it's unbeleivable that how much efforts you put to keep records of all of them .
It's great to celebrate different festivals and have indian cushines even being so far from india at your house which i think is a mini india at karlsruhe and enjoyable ofcourse to also have experiences of some german food.So if anybody needs love and food go to kunchiwalas residence.
Thanks for everything , and above all Thanks to almighty God for making such wonderful human beings Ashok Uncle n Eva aunty...
Sincerely,
sudarshana

Dearest Uncle and Aunty,
Its one of the few sweetest moments of joy to scribble in your guest book.....ofcource with a long long overflowing list of people writing so good words into it. Its been so long being with you now, that i cannot express how much I miss u after coming back to India.

Lot of people have less known people in Germany when they come. I had lots ! But you were always like my parents. It was always a great pleasure for me to hop to your place with the slightest reason and spend some time with you. Will never forget those moments....some of those get-togethers, outings, breakfasts, lunchs, dinners, long wine sessions, etc, etc. etc. during good times, and ofcource being with me whenever I was in need.
Building a new relation is very easy !! keeping a relation is very tough ! my wish is to be with u always. I am not sure where i would be in the next few years down the lane, but i will always be in touch. Thats my wish as for now ! Last few days for me in Germany was a bit diffcult for me to realise.....but I guess with all your good wishes and luck, I achieve some of my long awaited aspirations.

I was longing to write down in your guestbook, never found a chance...just kidding !!

We'll be meeting very soon, and I am very sure you will have a lovely time in December. My best wishes and love and regards are always with u. Wish u a long and cherishing life ahead ! Do let me know whenever u need some help from my side and please take care of your health !

lots of love
Siddhu
