Indian true at heart: Is what describes Ashok uncle and Eva aunty. We have nice memories of them and will remain forever. The nobel work (of helping Asian in Karlsruhe) that they are doing is worth appreciating. I wish them a happy and prosperous future life.

I was lucky enough meet a good-hearted couple in Karlsruhe helping Indians in any means; obviously that is Kunchiwala Uncle and Eva Aunty. They’d been helping us (DAAD-2004 Batch) for nine months stay, so that we were able to have a pleasant stay away from the home. I had time of my life in Karlsruhe with Uncle and Aunty, right from the beginning of my trip till the end, even up to the airport. I wish from the depths of my heart, for their health, wealth and joy, I pray for the same. May GOD Bless my Beloved Uncle and Aunty.

Ashok Kunchiwala and his wife Eva Kunchiwala are quite well known among Indians, especially to students who visit Karlsruhe. (generally all students call them Uncle and Aunty). Kunchiwala is a nice person who is living in Germany but still has good respect for Indian traditions and has a strong desire to spread the beauty of indian culture in other region of the world like Germany too. I feel that he really miss India, Indian culture and traditions so want to develop these things here. Uncle keep the spirit up! We are also there to support your nice efforts............

Kunchiwala is a popular name among Indians, especially students who visit Karlsruhe. Simply saying he is an altruistic and generous person... Someone who holds the Indian traditions so dear and near even after living in the west for decads. And it would be hard to find like minded people in a world where no one has time for himslf. Uncle you are doing a great job!!!

I am a student from IIT, Delhi visited Karlsruhe under IIT-DAAD programme in 1999. With the presence of Ashok Uncle and Eva Anty, it was a home away from home, during my Karlsruhe stay. Uncle and Anty are not only improtant to me, they are Oma and Opa for my little son Shubh. I finished my Ph.D from Technical University, Dresden, Germany and working for Jado Technologies as Research Scientist.

Dear Friends ..
Althogh i was not a part of the crew who stayed in Karlsruhe for a long time but definitely i had a small sharing of sweet memories of meeting these noble people.. mere words cannot express their humane behavior towards the needy.. I wish them to cherish every moment of life full of happiness.....
Keep smiling and make others as well ..
Best regards

Hey indians..dont cry while coming to Germany as u might feel u will miss your parents in germany. But dont worry here we have our new parents that is our Uncle and Aunty, the couple who is working since last 25 years to keep the Indians,(coming to Germany )happy. You will never feel lonely in the company of them. They are the one who are taking the responsibility of DAAD-Karlsruhe batch (in all sense) every year (unofficially).
They have small hause but big space in the heart.Whenever you go to their place you will always find the them standing in the door waiting to welcome you with great smile. They not only gave us love but also taught us the way to live in the foreign country. At the end of my pleasant stay in Deuschland i will only say one thing to those who are coming to Karlsruhe that do not miss this opportunity to visit our Uncle and Aunty.I pray to god for their long healthy life to them and for their family.

I am no student, nor am I linked to IIT in anyway. I merely came to Germany to meet with a brother who I had not had contact with for over 13 years, & had no expectations about the Kunchiwalas. But through their warmth, hospitality & sincere smiles they made me feel at home more than any where else I have been throughout the world.
My only request to prospective guests of the Kunchiwalas would be never to forget or take for granted the kindness that will genuinely be showered upon you. If only there were more people like them, the world would be enriched beyond belief. My prayers are with you always.

Dear Ashok uncle and Eva Aunty,
I am really grateful to you for your parental care throughout my stay in Karlsruhe. I could never imagine in what situation i would have been on the Ist of August, if you were not there in Hauptbahnof to receive me. I would have been completely lost in this foreign land, had you not been with me during the initial days. It was for the first time i got rid of my nostalgic home sick feelings, after knowing your family. Indeed, i can never express in words what you mean to me, but you will always remain in the core of my heart wherever i will be.
with lots of luv,
raji

Hai,
I think no need to tell in words about our uncle and aunty. Just you have a look around the website, you can recognise, how helpful and caring they are? But one thing I have to tell. In India I have my mother and father, I miss them really, but I don’t feel because we have our uncle and aunty here. Now I like to go back to India, but I want to come back at least to see our uncle and aunty again, I will really miss them in India. I pray god to give a chance to come here again. Do u know all the parents got only few children usually two or three, maximum five, abnormally 10 (very rare case), but do u know our uncle and aunty are having at least 10 new children every year. This is one of the most wonder able news.
Hallo Uncle and Aunty,
While you come to India, you should come to my home and stay for few days. This my kind request…

- Ashok kumar.
